KSI Alum Irene Lee is a true success story
Date: Feb, 2008
Originally from Taiwan, Irene came to the US to study at KSI. She fondly remembers her life in Chicago, and notes "The time I was there was quite a significant turning point in my life". Irene now teaches Spanish at ChuHai College in Hong Kong. She will graduate with her second Master’s degree in Computer-Aided Translation from The Chinese University in Hong Kong in May 2008. She then plans to pursue her PhD in Applied Linguistics.
Irene says that she learned something very important at KSI: "No matter what you're doing, how far you go and how much you achieve depends on how much passion you have. It's not that the best survives, it's that who survives is the best".
Irene sends her best wishes and gratitude to all the professors at KSI, but especially to Professor Chang for his active attitude and great effect on her personal life. KSI is very proud of you, Irene. We wish you the best of luck in everything you do!
