Certificate Program

KSI’s Certificate program is designed to accommodate those with little or no computer programming experience or knowledge whose goal is to find employment as a computer programmer. It also may serve as a prerequisite program for those who wish to move on to graduate study. The program consists of twenty industry relevant courses, from which students may choose, with assistance from an academic advisor. After completion of three to eight of these courses amateurs become experts, and job opportunities in programming are readily available.

The standard Certificate Program consists of six (6) core required courses and two (2) electives which are chosen according to each student’s needs and goals. Students using the certificate program courses as prerequisites for the Master of Science Degree should choose electives according to the concentration they expect to choose for the Master of Science Degree.
