Summer 2008 Pre-Registration Notice Date: March, 2008 Dear KSI Students, The spring 2008 semester is coming to an end. The mandatory registration day for the summer 2008 semester will take place on Monday, May 12 from 2 to 8 pm. Classes for the summer 2008 semester will begin on Monday, May 19. To ensure that your student status is uninterrupted, please pre-register for the summer 2008 semester no later than Friday, April 11. The major advantage of pre-registration is that KSI can try to schedule the courses you need at times that are convenient for you. Please be aware of the following rules: If you are an international student and you will be leaving the country before the beginning of the summer 2008 semester, you MUST pre-register before you leave the US AND pre-pay for one course in full before you leave, or your I-20 will not be signed allowing for your re-entry to the US. You MUST attend the first three sessions of your summer 2008 classes. If are an international student and you do not attend the first three sessions of your summer 2008 classes, SEVIS will drop you from full-time to part-time status and you will be terminated by SEVIS automatically. If you do not plan to take courses at KSI during the summer semester, please let us know as soon as possible. Pre-registration is already available, so stop by the KSI Administrative Office to pre-register as soon as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. SEKE 2008 Twentieth International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering Date: Aug, 2007 The Twentieth International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (SEKE 2008) will be held in the Hotel Sofitel, San Francisco Bay, USA on July 1-3, 2008. The conference aims to bring together experts in software engineering and knowledge engineering to discuss relevant topics in software engineering and knowledge engineering. DMS 2008 The Fourteenth International Conference on Distributed Multimedia Systems Date: Sep, 2007 Distributed Multimedia Systems is an international conference series which covers a wide spectrum of technique discussions, demonstrations, and student program/paper contests in the fields of distributed multimedia computing. Started in 1994, the conference series has been held in Hawaii, Hong Kong, Vancouver, Taipei, Aizu-Wakamatsu, Japan, San Francisco, Miami and Canada.
